Visitor Pavilion Duivenvoorde
Duivenvoorde Castle . Voorschoten
Completed : January 2018
Client: The Duivenvoorde Foundation
Project summary:
Hof van Duivenvoorde has ten movable façade parts that open the building in the morning and close in the evening. In open form the building is a light restaurant, in closed form a modest barn that fits in with its surroundings. Hof van Duivenvoorde offers space for a restaurant, a museum shop and the guides who show visitors around the estate. The building is relatively small - 6 x 30 meters - but feels spacious due to the high degree of transparency.
